As a result, it brings segment-leading range and smart features to the compact SUV space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-electric-range-and-battery-options\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Electric Range and Battery Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jspkia.com\/service\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.jspkia.com\/service\">Kia Syros EV<\/a> comes with two battery packs. Firstly, the base 42kWh unit delivers a certified range of 443km. This variant pairs with a 133bhp electric motor. Secondly, the larger 51.4kWh Extended Range battery pushes range to 526km. As a result, the Syros EV is the first vehicle in its segment to cross 500km on a single charge. Additionally, the bigger battery variant produces 171PS and 255Nm of torque. Consequently, it completes the 0-100kph sprint in just 8.1 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-smart-technology-and-features\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart Technology and Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inside, the Syros EV gets a triple-screen dashboard. Notably, the drive selector has moved to the steering column. This frees up space on the centre console. Meanwhile, comfort features include segment-first rear-seat ventilation, reclining, and sliding functions. For safety, the SUV offers six airbags. It also includes a Level 2 ADAS suite with 16 driving assistance functions. With the faster charger, the smaller battery charges from 10-100% in about 6 hours. Moreover, buyers can access Kia&#8217;s K-Charge network through the MyKia app. This network spans over 20,300 charging points nationwide.
